The OneUp Components EDC Lite Tool is a 9-function everyday carry multi-tool designed to store directly inside a mountain bike's steerer tube. It gives riders quick, rattle-free access to essential trailside tools without the need to carry a heavy backpack or waist bag.
Unlike the original OneUp EDC V2 tool, the EDC Lite does not require tapping threads into your fork's steerer tube or removing your star nut.
- Leave the top cap in place but remove the main top cap bolt.
- Thread the long setter bolt (included in the kit) into your star nut about 10 full turns.
- Hammer the setter bolt down until it sits flush against the top cap, pushing your star nut roughly 3 inches deeper into the steerer tube.
- Remove the bolt and top cap, then slide the new EDC Lite carrier sleeve into the steerer tube.
- Tighten the internal sleeve bolt with a long 4mm hex key, and pop the multi-tool into place.
